Why India Deserves Better Wellness
Okay, real talk for a second?
The Indian supplement industry is kind of a hot mess.
Like, you know how you walk into a chemist shop and there are 47 bottles of "ashwagandha-something" with names that all sound like rejected Bollywood titles? Yeah. That mess.
Here's what's actually going on behind those shiny labels:
Most pills sold in India still contain titanium dioxide — a filler that's banned in the UK and EU because, well, it's not exactly snack material. We're casually swallowing it every morning with our chai.
Most "ayurvedic" gummies? They've got more sugar than a Cadbury Dairy Milk. (We checked. We were sad.)
Most weight-loss capsules? Loaded with caffeine and stimulants pretending to be natural. Spoiler: your heart racing at 11 PM is not "metabolism boosting." That's just panic.
And the worst part — nobody tells you any of this. The packaging says "natural" and "100% safe" in a friendly green font, and we just trust it because… what else are we supposed to do?
So here's where we stand:
We're not anti-supplement. We're anti-shortcut.
We don't think wellness needs to come in 17 different bottles you forget to take. We don't think it needs added sugar to "taste better." We don't think your body deserves fillers banned in countries where the food regulators actually do their job.
We started Daily Patches because we wanted to build something we'd actually let our own moms use. Something simple. Something honest. Something that doesn't lecture you about your "lifestyle choices" or shame you for skipping the gym.
Something that fits into the beautiful chaos that is Indian life — the 7 AM tiffin packing, the metro that's always somehow late, the deadline emails that show up at 11 PM, the school drop where you forgot the water bottle, that one cup of chai you reheated three times and still didn't finish.
You know. Real life.
So here's what a Daily Patch does:
You stick it on in the morning. It works while you live. It doesn't ask you to remember anything. It doesn't ask you to swallow anything weird. It doesn't taste like artificial mango that's never met an actual mango. It just shows up — daily — like a friend who keeps her promises.
That's it. That's the whole thing.
(Okay, there's also some pretty cool science happening behind it. But we'll get to that on another page. We don't want to be that friend who only talks about themselves.)
